My name is Joseph Lyon, and I'm a Professional Freelancer who has been active since 2010. 

I studied at the University Of Lincoln from 2013 to 2016, attaining a 2:1 grade in the Media Production BA course.  In my final year of study, I became the President of the University Of Lincoln Filmmaking Society,  leading a small council in running competitions, social events, charity fundraisers and guest speaker talks.

Since graduating, I've worked in Catalonia Spain as an English Teacher, and New Hampshire America as a Photography Director, as well as travelling extensively over Europe. My current ambition in life is to join a film production company, where I can utilise my skillset in various roles, and develop myself further as an artist.

DSLRs (Canon, Nikon, Sony & Panasonic), the Canon Cinema EOS Series, the Sony E-Mount Series, the Panasonic G-Series, RED Scarlet, Blonde 2KW lights, Red Head lights (300w and 800w), Smooth Shooter Glidecam XR4000, Kessler Jib, Konova Sliders, Steadicam, Spider & Track dollies, Tilta III HDSLR Rig, Boundary and Boom Mics, Zoom H4N sound recorder and Metz Flash

In addition, I also use the following programs: The Adobe Creative Cloud Package,  Audacity, FireAlpaca, Avid Media Composer, Da Vinci Resolve, Autodesk Smoke & Flame and GIMP

I have also been trained and performed roles as a Script-Writer, Producer, Camera Operator, Animator, Editor, Sound Engineer and Director. I have also done positions as a Runner, Gaffer, Location Scout, Secondary Assistant, Key Grip, Set Designer and Make-up Artist.
